How we tested

Method: Browser agent retest after page_fingerprint change (index-CQvLyAaQ.js -> index-DYBnH3Io.js, new AI copy); no accounts or credentials; desktop viewport; hard reload; template picker 20 s wait + scroll; template apply + text edit + photo replace + PNG export; each new AI feature tried on illustrated sample images with no real human faces (so face and portrait features could only be checked for the no-face path). Tester: Agbus (browser agent). Date: 2026-10-17T21:05-07:00.

Test log (from our notes)

Load: very fast (DCL 61 ms, load ~0.2 s). Friction: none; Google sign-in button optional (not clicked). No popups.

Captcha: no. Signup: not needed. Bot/blocking: none.

Core flow: FULL. Uploaded 3 placeholder JPGs -> auto 3-column strip; applied built-in template "Breaking News · Circle" (kept photos); added text layer; Export dialog (PNG/JPEG/WebP, 1x-4x, size estimate) -> PNG 1080x1350 downloaded.

Works: auto-layout, templates, text, export, no watermark on export (visual check of export thumbnail).

Breaks: Designs list showed "Loading template…" on 16 of 18 cards when checked (only first 2 thumbnails rendered; did not confirm they load later). Template photo crop clipped my sample label (placeholder-specific).

Quality: 4/5. Pricing/ads: none seen; claims free, no watermark, no account to edit/export. API/MCP: none. Export: file download only.
